The way it shifts from funny to “life is cruel, unfair, and terrifying. Death is imminent and will come for those who believe they are invincible”. To funny again. And the part where K. Rool tries to help DK out from under the rock hits. Most video game villains just want something that can cloud their judgement, but they’re not necessarily evil.

I believe the cave one is based on a real story about a guy who got trapped underground, though if I remember he died due to drowning because of all the people lighting fires above him

@@MackBananas It was a reference to the Sand Cave Tragedy where Floyd Collins had his leg trapped under a massive rock while exploring a narrow passage in a cave on his neighbor's property in hopes to profit off of the area via tourism. His brother Homer brought water and sausage to feed him in so he didn't succumb to the elements but the amount of gravel that had caved in on top of him simply replenished itself during every attempt to remove rocks. Eventually some cave workers tried enlarging the hole to Floyd in order to reach him but it only caused the passage to cave in. The national guard was called and a hole was dug down to Floyd over a course of 12 days, but by the time they had reached Collins he had already died of starvation.

I was expecting the giant beaver in Tree Top Town to say "Simba", that would probably have made that part a bit more hilarious, but overall, I love this! Keep these videos up!
