I love how Cas always manages to capture the magic of our childhood games, but also manages to rip the childhood out of it just the same. Its kinda poetic, I was only 7 years old when this came out and was still innocent. Im 23 now, and much like this video I have unfortunately...seen things. Thanks(?) for the video cas!

I'm from 2008, I was born with the Wii, it's my whole childhood! I've been playing the Wii for 16 years and I think it's THE console that will never get old (even if 4 hours of playing in 720p can tickle the eyes 😅)

I absolutely ADORE this cartoon, as Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best games in the world. The wholesome and nostalgic parts combining with the funny and hilarious parts serves as a reminder of what we used to be: kids just having fun on the Wii. The weird and trippy gravity of the mini planets, the pull stars, the annoying cosmic comets that force you to beat a cosmic clone of yourself, and good old Bill Board reminds me so much of when I first played Super Mario Galaxy and I was just into every essence of the game. Not only does it explore Super Mario Galaxy, but the sequel as well, and I loved the reference to the Hell Valley Sky Trees, a mystery in SMG2 still remaining a mystery to this day. This video symbolises our childhood, the nostalgia of getting back from school, starting up the Wii Console and hearing that 'SUPER MARIO GALAXY!!!!!!' over and over again as you are ready to venture back into this empty but vibrant and colourful world. This was such a joy and pleasure to watch, honestly.

No, that's JUST what happens in the game. Beat game. Collect ALL stars if you haven't already. Custscenes and credits play. ONLY after all of that you get the notification. NOT an easter egg. Hell not even a reference. It is just what happens. You even play the game...?

This one is amazing ! All the details and all the originals sounds effects and THOSE MUSICS made me turn my Wii back on, bringing back all those years of nostalgia by the way 🥲 Even the creepy easter egg back from Shiverburn (even if it's from Mario Galaxy 2) One of the bests games ever made in the world, One of the best Cas videos for me, thank you men

5:57 No one mentioned this passage in the comments but I particularly like the music mixed with a very pretty image and a Mario looking at the starry sky, it reminded me a little of the episode of the Simpsons where Homer is alone on the roof of his car looking at the stars. I liked it.

YOOO ITS SUPER MARIO GALAXY FOR THE WII!!! I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH! Especially since you can use the colored stars as ammo to fight enemies or use them feed to some of the little star boi’s, and to unlock certain areas. My favorite was just relaxing in the story room abort Rosalina’s ship. But just the peaceful scenery of the whole game was/is amazing. That and scaring Luigi as a ghost while trying to save him… now I wanna play on my Wii again. And finally, you absolutely nailed the end where you pulled up the Wii menu and immediately left the game, from the slight shakiness of the icon, to the noises, and even the warning screen about leaving without saving… Bravo Cas, bravo!

This is the best mario galaxy animation I have ever seen. Mario galaxy 1 & 2 are my favorite games of all time and they mean a lot to me and my personality, you my good sir have not only brought nostalgia but absolutely the best comedy on top of it! This was the best thing I have seen video wise in a while and I only ask one thing of you, please me a galaxy 2 one next.🙏🏻 Besides that this is perfection and I give you much love for making this.💚💚

This is an absolutely amazing video, and you can tell he holds this game close to his heart as well. For real though, for anyone who hasn't played Super Mario galaxy 1 or 2 before, I'd encourage you to go do so. They are both incredible games at their core. Even for myself, who first got super Mario galaxy for Christmas. Playing the game is an almost ethereal experience if you're willing to sit and pay attention to the game
