Most of the Disney live-action remakes that I’ve seen were better than the original in my opinion. The Lion King one was pretty disappointing from a story and screenplay point of view though. Too similar to the animated version.

@@thetimelords911 It's true that the animals lacked the animated kind of faces that the original had. Still, I was fascinated with the incredible technology that created such stunningly realistic appearances, movements, and environments in the whole movie. There were a lot of things that could've been so much better with the live-action Lion King, but the one thing it didn't lack was the amazing visuals and animation. I feel like that aspect is oftentimes not appreciated enough, especially when it comes to Disney's live-action remakes.

@@SweetflyRachel Its not even technically live action though, thats my biggest gripe. Its just an extremely detailed animated film. Aladdin was a live action remake because it actually used real people in a real set. Not saying Aladdin is better or worse though.
