I'm more worried about 2:40, its at the moment of the nft refrence and I do believe having Milo wearing that smug expression is a refrence to another fan-made video revolving around Tarzan and Milo looking at slides. I'm not judging but I'm pretty sure I know what cas is refrencing and I'm pretty sure other people will know what it is 😏

@@vladpalets You can see it happen in this scene a lot, 1:40. If you watch the edges of the screen, you can see that characters will pop out of the frame. It's kinda hard to put into words lol. It's such a cool emersion technique.

@@vladpalets The size of the background is smaller than the actual size of the video; when characters come into the screen, it looks like they're entering from somewhere outside, into the stage. 0:25 when Kala comes into the tree house, 3:00 when the gorillas come out from the bottom screen, you can see the images are slightly out of the background, so it makes the animation have more depth.

The Brendan Fraiser cameo was amazing. The Jane design was cute and on the nose. The gorillas references in media made me laugh so hard. And the final moments were so cool, as the Baboons chasing scene. And of course, the ending, 10 outta 10.

I hated the world only because of the annoying leopard literally fighting you every time you went to an area, it became so redundant. I know you eventually beat it and it stops but holy crap it got old really quick, the Clayton boss fight was also just terrible lol

I know the Milo cameo is supposed to be a joke about, well, uh … but you should totally do an Atlantis recap if you haven’t already been working on one! I know animators get tired of hearing a shit ton of requests from people, believe me I know, but Atlantis is such an under-appreciated movie that it deserves one, especially from the capable hands of you and your team!

Fun fact: Even though Tarzan talks throughout the film, he actually only has 42 lines during the 2nd half because he is actually communicating with the gorillas and Tantor in 'animal language'. His 1st words in the film was actually "Very nice" to Jane. As a matter of fact Tarzan has the least number of human speech of all human Disney protagonists.

I love how Gorillaz are referenced at 2:36 and then make a cameo at 3:00. It's so subtle but fun I love it (especially since their first album premiered one year after Tarzan premiered in theaters). Man this was nostalgic, i still have the vhs for this movie, and watching this recap, I only now notice as an adult just how dark it some of the scenes were with how crazy and ravenous the jungle was.
