It's a shame Valve spent the years of 2011-2017 slowly trying to kill them, from QP, to QP excluding community servers by default, to Casual and the server browser being tucked away a decent bit, to never updating the server browser.

This feels like a recap of the different eras of TF2 from the community perspective. The Bot Crisis, The MLP era, Nope.AVI, Team Fabulous 2, Jerma, Overwatch and the inevitable comparisons, even the Pyrocynical Fempyro stuff (the one near the end killed me on the Marvel Rivals Iron Man cameo alone). Overall, this is an amazing ode to TF2 and a well done one at that. Cheers, Cas!

10:07 This is specially beautiful because it reminds me when I used to craft hats and give them to F2Ps in both casual and community servers. Sadly I stopped when a couple of them weren't so kind because the hat I was giving to them wasn't what they wanted and then discovered they had like 2 o 3k hours in the game and wanted to scam me by seeing my backpack and wanting things like my taunts, unusuals or strange weapons/cosmetics. I had to put my inventory in private for a year and a half after that.

This video is probably the most accurate non-gameplay video I've ever seen lol I'll probably edit this comment a lot to point out more funny things as I see them(in no order hehe) 5:47: Tap the left arrow key after about 5 seconds of playtime here; it creates a near-perfect loop. Pyro as a whole: The fact that she knows the *perfect* technique and is willing to wear, well, this(9:25) under a pretty much skintight suit makes me think Cas knows even more than he's letting on. 5:21: There is a way to tell who was the real Soldier... 1:15: Demo flashes the other team here, oops :) 8:43: Seeing this and wanting to fix it is the *entire* reason you picked up Medic, isn't it? 6:24: stabbystabby when he discovers the trickstab

As someone who met so many friends ( first international friends ) through team fortress 2 and the tf2 community, I'd say this is a really fun omage to tf2. There are so many things that could be added with how massive the tf2 experience is, but the video would become a feature film. This is nice and sweet

TF2 community servers are really why Im level 6 in tf2, and still have 500 hours on tf2. I just preffer crazy community servers with milion taunts and weird mini games, compared to the actual matches

LOL !!! TF2 is such a unique game. This doesn't even feel like a parody, it feels like the actual gameplay. So many memories made by this 20 year old game. The community is still strong. I am so proud to recognise literally every MEME referenced here. This game always inspires people to make something hilarious or even terrifying like "Emesis Blue". Looking forward to the Winglet's final SFM film of his "Hat Trilogy" later this year. 😄 Thank you Cas for this wonderful love letter animation for TF2. Enjoyed it so much; the medic scenes were my favourite and I love how OG voices were implenten. The ending was very sweet. 🥰
