that's something i Really admire about these recap cartoons; they do the score for each movie too, using the same chords from the original piece under a rearranged melody. it's like the way they color-pick from the real movie screenshots for the art and backgrounds each of these videos feels like they put the movie through a content-aware-scale, in visuals and audio and pacing. it's great

Somehow, Sadness can be happy… but only when she’s allowed to be sad. The moment Joy and Bing-Bong fall, you can immediately see her smile knowing she isn’t gonna be bossed around anymore. And also an incredibly goofy smile when she’s actually told she did a good job. Remember kids, you’re allowed to be sad. It’ll make you happier in the long run to let it out sometimes.
