My absolute favorite part of this animation is that throughout, Cas somehow perfectly captures the minor acceleration and deceleration to Mario's movement that's characteristic of SM64. The way he walks on the dune is similarly accurate, and it's the kind of detail most people wouldn't think to include.

To this day, Mario’s idea of vacation clothes being the exact same outfit with short sleeves is one of my favorite things in the franchise.

I just love everything about these two shorts. The jokes, the visuals, the references, and the accuracy to these two Mario games and the players' experiences to them are just so good.

Mario sunshine was my first ever console game, so I absolutely loved all the humor crammed into this. The game flips from relaxing and fun to downright bs, which is part of it's charm.

As somebody that spent three years of my childhood trying to beat Super Mario Sunshine, that whole thing is painstakingly accurate.

To be honest? Doing the mainline 3D Mario games in order of release is a perfect idea! You've already done 64 and Sunshine, so doing Galaxy, Galaxy 2, 3D Land, 3D World, and Odyssey as the next Nintendo recaps would be pretty good (with maybe a recap of a game from a different Nintendo franchise between each one for variety)!
