They didn’t. Disney bought them and shut down the studio while blaming the Pandemic. The real reason is probably because Disney has other animation studios already. Even though we won’t see anything more from Blue Sky, Disney or Pixar will still produce stuff using the Ice Age IP. (Some of the people that worked at Blue Sky may have been shifted around the company as well.)
